In my paintings, installations it is not about copying the nature. It s like stepping into an endless snowy
plain that you take the Edegem before you take the first step and carefully leaves your footprint on it.
It s start from the white.
I make a translation of nature as I experienced and
feel it and display that by means of colors and
Line. A color sometimes thick and sometimes thin,
applied with a knife or brush
A line sometimes fierce, sometimes soft
Contradiction is what I like, search in life, nature.

allowed to work for a month in Artak residence in
Grundarfjordur,west Iceland.
